Hassan Jalal Weshah

Hassan Jalal Weshah is a Yemeni writer, poet, activist and academician. He was born in Aslam District, Province of Hajjah, where he still lives with his family. In 2008, he got his Bachelor Degree in English from Hajjah University where he worked as a lecturer. He is currently doing his Ph. D in India.
Hassan Jalal Weshah has published a poetry collection entitled "The Hymns of the Last Twilight". He started writing poetry early in his life. Poetry, to him, is both an expression of human feelings and a means of survival in a world which is characterized by darkness, troubles, broken promises, decay and senselessness.
